Social media typically implies a two-way street, a conversation. Builds engagement and inclusion. Podcasting as an educational affordance is attracting significant research in the field of education and training with interest from some interesting specialized fields. Medical and nursing training use podcasts extensively for educational purposes and lead some of the current research in the area.

Let's annotate another article and discuss it in a podcast.

See some of the articles I've added to our Zotero group

When you post your podcast on your blog page you will have a comments section for people to interact with the audio presentation.

SoundCloud lets you put comments in the audio street in context. "Wow, that was a fabulous guitar solo?" What instrument did you use there?

First Class

Welcome and kudos for managing the Zoom so well right off the bat.

Here is the recording from the first class. The first few minutes are a bit sketchy but the rest is pretty accurate, I'll get better at editing as we go. :)

I have a storage limit on my recordings so I'll have to delete the recordings after 7  days. You can download the recording to your own computer if you like.
